Thanks for commenting. Sometimes the most searched for keywords are out of reach, in such cases I still use those words, but include them in a longer tailed version.

For me, the basic of SEO Tips are:

1. Search for most searched keyword
2. Optimize it for several long tail keywords

Hi there Stephen, I think this is my first comment on your blog and judging from your style of writing it will not be my last. I’m a huge fan of SEO but I’ve never really tried to optimize any of my article pages.

I use the basic SEO tips you get from the average SEO bloggers. I have the plugin for SEO, I changed my permalink and try to link back to my article as much as possible within target niches.

Your tips are something I rarely see in the blogosphere. I like how you give suggestions for SEO but also remind the blogger that the SEO techniques shouldn’t take away from the blog readers experience.

Many thanks for your kind words about the post. The five links in is good advice too. I have already done some social bookmarking for this post, and I will edit/rewrite it for a couple of the larger article directories too.

The Keyword Luv plugin is great. A cool way to gain links for your own site and for others to gain links to theirs. Win win!

awesome resource there Stephen :) I actually liked how you have delivered the first part of this entry, it drawn me more in reading the entire post. You also mentioned a lot of good on-page techniques to be used in a single post and I definitely agree to those that have been mentioned. It’s also best to build at least 5 external links to posts using the targeted keyword, to boost its rankings more. Bloggers should take advantage of the “keywordluv plugin”, knowing that it doesn’t only give you a quality backlink for the blog’s homepage, but with the most recent post as well :)

Anyway, I noticed that there are lots of new posts on your homepage, and I’m very excited to read them all, since most are related to SEO.

few, when i read the title, i though for a moment you were saying that we shouldn’t eve consider seo and just avoid it completely.
